About Me

Heres a little time line about me. Just some yearly high lights.

  • 1984: Born in Phoenix Arizona
  • Was an only child for a few years ( it was awesome)
  • 1990: Became and older brother
  • 1992: Brother again
  • 1996: Runner up for Trix Cereal Silliest Kid in America Contest, Appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and many other TV and Radio shows. Hung with Kevin Costner, Jerry Lee Lewis, Amy Grant, Jay Leno, and some other people.
  • 1997: Parents Divorce start 7th grade, first drum set- Find NOFX and Skateboarding. ( its life)
  • 1998: Move to Colorado to my 3rd middle school. Start punk band
  • 1999: Move to Flagstaff, Arizona to my 3rd high School Start another punk band
  • 2000: Survived Y2K
  • 2002: Got my first 3 tattoos, moved out, graduated high school in Flagstaff and move to Tucson
  • 2002: Worked at Safeway, getting tattooed, playing in another band, skateboarding
  • 2006:Try to get my friend a tattoo apprenticeship ( ya know, for free tattoos) I get one instead.
  • 2007: Start tattooing full time at The Tattoo Shop in Tucson Arizona
  • 2008:Met my future wife and change shops
  • 2009: Our daughter is born, change shops
  • 2010: Move to Ohio to be near wifes family and raise our baby. Learn so much about traditional tattoos
  • 2011: That was crazy, back to Tucson for us.
  • 2012: My Ohio tattoo boss dies, I wanna go back to open a shop with the old crew. Back to Ohio.
  • 2013: Ok, I tried, I really did, but Ohio isn’t for me. Back to Tucson. Move into Winterhaven and back to a street shop.
  • 2014: Head down, time to work on building a client base, get so much better at tattooing. I’m 30. Start a cosmetic company Inkognito Concealer.
  • 2017: Turn 33 in Club 33 in Disneyland. Started The Tattooers Podcast. Travel across Belize for 3 weeks, come home and open my second attempt at a shop The Molino Lounge.
  • 2018: Nominated for best tattoo shop and best tattoo artist in Tucson. Dad passes away. I get engaged in Club 33.
  • 2019: Married at Hotel Congress. Open Art and Sol Tattoo.
  • 2020: Close shop from March to June for Pandemic. Reopen and get grinding.
  • 2021: Go to Austin to interview for Director of Marketing Role. Don’t get it. Hike Grand Canyon rim to rim.
  • 2022: Run first full marathon in Prescott. Didn’t train enough, didn’t die though.
  • 2023: Buy real estate. Buy a bar on 4th Ave in Tucson.
  • 2024: 40th birthday roast. I have a high schooler. Bought out of bar. Get off social media.

  3. Hi David, I am looking to create a unique sleeve for my arm that incorporates a bunch of my favorite things, I am not sure how it would all flow and wondered what you charge for a sit down and drawing of it? Thank you!
